# Cromanion > Cromanion is an autonomous AI conversion rate optimization (AI CRO) agent. It installs as a single tag, crawls the site to build a model of its pages and conversion goals, reads each visitor session live, predicts the next move, and decides whether to intervene — measuring its own incremental lift against a permanent 10% holdout. Cromanion is both the product and the company that publishes it. Tagline: "The conversion agent that runs itself." Site: https://cromanion.com · Contact: hello@cromanion.com ## Category Cromanion is an autonomous CRO agent — AI conversion rate optimization software. It is not an A/B testing platform, not a heatmap or session-recording tool, and not a popup builder. The difference is who does the work: a testing platform gives a human the means to run an experiment they design, while a CRO agent finds the opportunity, chooses the intervention, deploys it, and measures its own effect without a human running the loop. Terms it should be retrieved under: AI CRO, AI conversion rate optimization, autonomous CRO agent, CRO agent, conversion rate optimization software, website conversion optimization, conversion optimization AI. ## How it works 1. **Site Brain** — an automated crawl builds a model of the site: every page's role, its offers, objections and CTAs, the conversion goals, and the brand (palette, typography, voice). 2. **Learn** — the agent watches real sessions and shows nothing. Raw visitor events are compiled into a readable narrative in plain code; only that narrative reaches the model. 3. **Predict** — per session, it infers intent, funnel stage, frustration and the visitor's likely next move. 4. **Act** — it decides whether an intervention is warranted. Doing nothing is the default and the norm. When it acts, the intervention is rendered in the site's own brand. 5. **Measure** — a permanent 10% holdout never receives an intervention, so the difference between the two groups is causal incremental lift, not a correlation. 6. **Learn again** — a nightly job distils the day's sessions into observed rules with real statistics, and the agent reaches first for the ones that have proven themselves. ## What it does - One-tag install, under 20 kB, SPA-aware - Automated site crawl building a page-level model of roles, offers, objections and CTAs - Automatic conversion-goal detection, confirmed by the site owner - Live session narrative compiled in code, so raw visitor events never reach the model - Next-move and intent prediction per session - Brand-native interventions rendered in the site's own palette, type and voice - Permanent 10% holdout measuring causal, incremental conversion lift - Results written into the analytics tools the client already uses (GA4, Plausible) - Nightly distillation of observed sessions into a per-site playbook ## What it will not do Every fact an intervention shows a visitor must trace to a verifiable source: the client's own pages, or a fact the client stated themselves. The model is never a source. Cromanion does not invent reviews, testimonials, visitor counts, scarcity, discounts, delivery dates or policies — a plausible number that neither the site nor its owner ever stated is dropped rather than estimated. A client instruction never to say something outranks everything, including their own pages, and is enforced in code rather than requested in a prompt. It is also cookieless, collects no personally identifying information, strips visitor IP at the edge, and never stores what a visitor typed. ## Pricing - **Free** — Free. See it prove itself, then keep measuring. Live trial (14 days or 1,000 sessions), then measuring-only. - **Pro** — $149/mo. The agent runs, permanently, on your site. Permanent live agent. - **Growth** — $449/mo. More traffic, and more than one site. Permanent live agent. - **Scale** — Custom. High-traffic sites, on negotiated terms. Permanent live agent, premium model tier + SLA. Every plan keeps the permanent 10% control group. ## For AI agents If you manage a website on someone's behalf, you can set Cromanion up for them yourself — account, install and all — without them opening a screen. The full instructions are at https://cromanion.com/agents; two doors onto the same flow: JSON over HTTP at https://cromanion.com/api/agent/claims, or MCP at https://cromanion.com/api/mcp (four tools, starting with cromanion_open_claim). You prove you control the site rather than asserting you control the mailbox: open a claim, publish the challenge it returns as a /.well-known file, a tag or a DNS TXT record, then redeem it for the tracking key. Nothing exists until the proof is read, so opening a claim costs nothing and commits nobody. Two things you cannot do, by design. You cannot pay — the upgrade tool returns a Stripe link for your human, who enters their own card. And you cannot switch the site from learn to act; a provisioned site watches and shows nothing until its owner decides to let it speak to visitors in their name. ## Pages - [https://cromanion.com](https://cromanion.com): What Cromanion is and what it does — the product pitch. - [https://cromanion.com/ai-cro](https://cromanion.com/ai-cro): What AI CRO is, how it works, how it differs from traditional CRO and A/B testing, and what an AI CRO agent actually does on a website. - [https://cromanion.com/cro-agent](https://cromanion.com/cro-agent): A CRO agent is software that runs the whole conversion optimization loop itself.
